“stem” is the first of a three-part leider cycle, inspired by Louise Glück’s The Wild Iris.
Taking Glück’s oracular, anthropomorphic voice as a point of departure, Caballero explores our relationship with mortality, with words, and with each other in pithy, cutting poems written in the language of flowers.
Created for Refraction DAO and debuted at Zero Space in Brooklyn in June 2022.
